So we invented 'Dough' - club nights and events presented by Nottingham Trent Graphic Design, organised by the Degree Show committee of which I am a member. We mainly have done general nights out selling our work with live art in the garden and dough-nuts for sale. Using the theme of a zoo I created a collection that would be sold in places like Ikea and Paperchase or just nice small independent shops. I found myself doodling a lot whilst in Korea, probably due to the daily hour trip on the coach to get to the centre of Seoul. I noticed Koreans use cats for almost anything, from selling glasses to stationery. I also enjoyed their funny english translations...my favourite being an apron saying 'modern cat' in the centre which also spurred on my fascination with cats.
